Dr. Pennell leads our staff as the owner and director of Hill Country Audiology. She earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida, her Master's in Audiology from the University of Texas, and Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University. Dr. Pennell resides in Georgetown with her husband and 3 children.

“Including my ins coverage, my aids cost $3,000. I ordered them from HCA in late July, 2022-delv'd and tuned in mid Aug, right one failed after 3 days. Had to go to HCA for it to be fixed, then both Oticon aids failed and were returned for repair/repl in next 10 days. New aids with another appt, which is an inconvenience. Both of them failed, again, in next 3 weeks. All the while sound quality was poor with background noise obliterating speech even 3 feet away. Horrible experience from start to finish. I have asked for a full refund and will return the charger today to get the process started.”

“HCA came highly recommended by a friend of my wife, and I am so pleased I followed up. Ashley Richburg, Au.D., CCC-A, is my audiologist and consultant. She quickly picked up on my frustrations with my hearing aids at the time, gave me a full audiological assessment, and together we identified a couple of hearing aid models. I had done my own research as well before deciding to upgrade my hearing aids, and the model Dr. Richburg recommended was the model I was most impressed with and ended up buying.
