Hearing Instrument Specialist

Troy Hill is a Hearing Instrument Specialist who joined HearingLife in 2017. He has treated many great people in Kansas, and that is the main reason he continues to call it home.

Troy is a veteran of the United States Army and spent five years as a county sheriff’s deputy. He decided to make a change to the hearing industry because of his wife, who is partially deaf. Seeing the effects of her loss and the issues it caused them as a couple gave Troy a unique view into hearing aids and the benefits they provide.

Tina Vermillion is a licensed Doctor of Audiology with experience helping people achieve healthy hearing. She specializes in the evaluation and non-medical treatment of hearing loss and has extensive training in hearing evaluation and rehabilitative audiology including hearing instrument dispensing and patient-centered counseling.

“All of my questions were answered fully. I was able to insert and/or adjust the hearing aids with no problem. I was able to connect to my iPhone for remote settings as well as being able to listen to whatever I wanted through the hearing aids. I’m very happy.”

“My wife and I have both received services from HearingLife and have been genuinely satisfied with the level of professionalism and expertise we received. The receptionist is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. She answered all of our questions and made us feel welcome. The office ambience is very pleasant. Troy was amazing!! He thoroughly explained what tests he was going to conduct and what was expected of us. He is friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable. His explanation of our hearing loss, and what needed to be done to correct it, was easy to comprehend and made complete sense. The hearing aids he fitted for me worked immediately! And they have continued to improve my hearing. I appreciate the fact that I can always call, or come in, with any concerns. I have been to other hearing centers and have never received the level of expertise that I did with Troy. I recommend this HearingLife location without any hesitation.
