Dr. Joseph Ferrito has been practicing audiology for over 40 years. With his vast experience both in the clinic and as an instructor at San Jose State University, Dr. Ferrito understands that each patient has distinct communication and lifestyle needs. He knows that technology alone doesn’t help people hear better; technology can only work as well as the practitioner and patient apply it. When he’s not working, Dr. Ferrito enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He and his wife of 46 years, Lori, have four grown children.

“Absolutely thorough hearing exam by Kirk! Professional, kind, and helped me understand where I had issues with my hearing. Now I understand why I currently need headphones when talking on the phone to understand any conversation. My hearing loss is very different in each ear: no low end in one and no high end in the other ear. Much more thorough than a previous audiologist. Also helped me pick out hearing aids that work for my issues. They also carry all the major brands: ReSound, Oticon, Phonak, Starkey, ... We picked out the Oticon More 1 for my hearing issues. I tried them on with my glasses and mask on. Extremely comfortable and Kirk's voice was significantly crisper even without background noise. I am very happy with my "The Hearing Center" experience!”

Dr. Ferrito and his staff strive to provide the highest level of patient care and satisfaction, seeking to establish long-term relationships with each patient.
