Alicia Huysmans grew up in Gilford, New Hampshire. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2009 with a degree in Psychology. After working for a number of years in the mental health field, Alicia decided to switch gears. After watching several family members struggle with hearing loss and seeing the impact it had on their ability to communicate and engage with loved ones, her need to help kicked in and she began her new journey to become a hearing care provider. Alicia has worked for HearingLife since 2018. She is licensed to practice in the state of NH.
Alicia has a natural way about her that puts people at ease as they navigate through their hearing journey. Her willingness to spend time with people to build trust and educate them about hearing loss and treatment has resulted in many happy ears. Alicia believes it is crucial to provide information that allows people to make educated decisions for themselves regarding their hearing. It is important to her that people feel comfortable and supported sharing their hearing needs.
In her downtime, Alicia enjoys spending time outdoors: hiking, skiing and fishing are some of her favorite activities. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
