“I will be 65 years oId this year and had a hearing test for the first time in my life with Dr. Jana Austin. I was impressed because, after discussing my general health and family history, she examined my ears with an otoscope. (Many friends have had hearing tests, but few have had their eardrums and interior of the ear examined by anyone besides their family physician.) The actual testing in the audiology testing booth did not take long. And Dr. Austin immediately afterwards showed and explained to me the results of my tests. Now that I have been screened and have a baseline, I will return next year for another exam and compare the results. Then we can determine how often I need to come to her office in the future.
