“I was a patient of another large group, needed new hearing aids and after receiving a price I looked around and found Michael at Access Hearing and went to him and not only got the same new hearing aids for about two thousand dollars less but received the best professional hearing services I’ve ever had. Recently I had a problem and thought it was the hearing aids causing a chirping noise and other noise so I called Michael and he saw me within a few days. He examined my hearing aids and then my ears and found out they were plugged with a major wax buildup in both ears. He said he could try to flush them out and clean the ear canals, I let him do it and everything turned out perfect and I can hear perfectly fine again thanks to Michael’s excellent service. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs hearing testing and or hearing aids, you’ll be amazed by his professionalism and service.”

“I brought my elderly aunt to the office because she was almost deaf in both ears. Michael Ruffin was so kind to her and so generous with his time. He went the extra mile doing an extra service that was not scheduled, and he didn’t say a word about it. He helped my aunt hear again (which we weren’t sure was possible), and she left his office in tears of joy. We literally stayed in the parking lot for 30 minutes while she listened to the sounds of the cars, birds, etc. His fees are extremely reasonable as well. He really cares about his customers and spends a lot of time explaining everything, including discussing what hearing aid settings (there are many!) that will work best for you. “I was not expecting such great service! Michael Ruffen of Access Hearing Service was the local instrument specialist servicing the model I bought. I brought my hearing aid in yesterday for adjustments. He first examined my hear canal with an optical probe that displayed on the 32 inch TV in front of me, no doubt what was being seen - my ear canal was clogged with wax! When this happened in the past with audiologists, it involved a trip to the doctor's office for an ear cleaning, a pain, but not this time! Michael had the tools at hand and cleaned out the offending wax in a few minutes - no trip to the doctor's office was needed. While he was at it, he also cleaned the wax out of the hearing aid and put new ear plugs on the hearing aid receiver. He accomplished all this in 15 minutes! To say i was pleased would be an understatement. When I need my next hearing exam, this is the place I will go to. If you want to buy or adjust hearing aids, go to Michael Ruffen at Access Hearing Services - he comes from a family of audiologists (his father) and knows how to please his patients. ”
