Hearing care services

Louisville Family Audiology Services Include:

Hearing testing/evaluation which will enable us to determine:

  • Whether or not a hearing loss exists
  • The possible cause of hearing loss
  • The degree and type of hearing loss and whether the loss exists in one or both ears
  • The best treatment options

Hearing Aid Evaluations and Sales - We work with you to find the hearing device that best suits your needs, your lifestyle and your budget.

Hearing Aid Dispensing/Fitting - Programming of your new hearing aids is based on the results of your hearing test, your individual preferences and unique listening environments. We can fine tune your hearing instruments to help you hear in a variety of situations including restaurants, crowds and other difficult listening situations. Hearing is subjective, so even someone with the same hearing loss as you may prefer to have their hearing aids programmed differently.

Live Speech Mapping - A fitting process that includes using live real-time speech to allow you and your family members to immediately see and understand the benefits of hearing aids and fitting adjustments.

Tinnitus Treatment - Advanced diagnostic testing for tinnitus (ringing or noises in your ears) Our professionals can help recommend a course of action to deal with this persistent problem. Each person has an individual response to treatment; our goal is to work with you to relieve this condition. Evaluations and treatment with a Certificate Holder of Tinnitus Management.

Ear Wax Management - An excess of earwax can be generated by the ear, leading to potential blockage and press against the eardrum, this can impair the ability to hear. We can assist in the safe removal of ear wax.

Additional Services Offered:

  • Bone anchored hearing aids (BAHA Implants)
  • Phonak Lyric "The Invisible & Hassle Free Hearing Aid"
  • EarLens - A tiny lens placed directly on your eardrum. The ear tip transmits high fidelity audio signals directly to the lens, gently vibrating your eardrum to help generate a clear, wonderful sound. Whether it’s speech, music or other sounds, you’ll love it.
