“A couple of years ago I realized my hearing was getting bad and didn’t want to travel out of town to get a hearing test. I found out thru Facebook that I could get my hearing tested right here in Eden at Advantage Hearing and Audiology on Meadow Rd. I called and the receptionist Rhonda Harris was very helpful and friendly in setting up a date and time for me. When I went for my appointment I waited less than 10 minutes and was quickly taken back for my test. Ricky Emerson tested my hearing very proficiently, ordered my aids and I was taken care of in the next few days. I appreciated the way the office was run and decided to also take my mom there. She was treated with the same courtesy I was. Now we both can hear so much better. Along the way I’ve recommended other family and friends suffering from hearing loss to try Advantage Hearing and Audiology. They too came away very satisfied. If you’re having problems hearing and you think people are mumbling, please consider trying them. Rhonda will make you feel like family and Ricky is very personable. I promise you will get professional care and will be glad that you don’t have to make a long trip to another city. Tell them Jean sent you. Oh and I forgot to mention the hearing tests are free! Have never had hearing aids before but now that I got assistance with my loss of hearing I should have gone to them much sooner than I did. I was informed of the amount of hearing loss that I had in each ear and they fit me with hearing aids that improved hearing in each ear. Have not had to go back to the office for anything except to get additional batteries. I like to maintain a supply of additional batteries just in case. The office manager, Rhonda Harris, is absolutely great. She can answer any question you have and always check my hearing aids to be sure they are current and perform as expected. “My experience was not a positive visit. Even though Dr. and attendant were welcoming, caring, I left their office in tears. First, during exam for hearing, I asked Dr. what was 2nd headset test for. He wouldn't tell me, said he tell me later, I found that upsetting. During the words test, he whispered words and asked me for how many words you get right. He didn't tell me until I had guessed how many words I got right. Again, that was upsetting and finally Dr. said I would get Dementia because of my hearing loss! ”
