“I’m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service we’ve received at Amplex Hearing Aid Centre. My parents were referred to this clinic back in March. We were told during the initial visit that it would take about two months to receive approval for their hearing aids. However, when we returned after that time, we found the office closed, with no one available to answer our questions or provide any updates. After a long and frustrating wait, the office finally reopened, only for us to be informed that they no longer had the prescription for my parents’ hearing aids. At no point during our initial visit or during the wait period was this ever communicated to us. We provided the prescription again in July, after following up with them monthly, only to now be told that the referral has expired. Apparently, we need to go back to the specialist and start the process over again. Once again, we were not informed about this in a timely manner. It has now been approximately nine months, and my parents are still struggling with their hearing. Their quality of life has been severely affected, and we feel helpless due to the lack of communication and support from Amplex. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone seeking hearing aid services to think twice before going to this clinic. The complete absence of communication and lack of professionalism has left us with no resolution and continued suffering for my parents.”
