“My wife finally talked me into getting my hearing checked and all I can say is, I wish I had gone years earlier. We have been patients, (yes my wife needed them too), for more than 8 years. Everyone at the Hearing And Brain Centers has been very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you all. ”

“My visit with Dr Brian Bureau was very enlightening. Brian asked me a lot of questions about my experience with my hearing aides. He addressed so many of my concerns and gave me a thorough explanation of Tinitus and how it can really effect your brain and cause early onset dementia.
He took so much time to adjust my hearing aides and he made sure that I was completely happy before I left the office. I have a follow - up in a couple of weeks so that he can make sure that all I well. I appreciate the time and energy that he put into my appointment.
Brian is extremely personable and I felt immediately comfortable at the onset of my appointment.
I also have always received excellent care from Joy , who handles all of the maintenance on my aids and who is just a lovely person to speak to.
The Worcester office is a 5 star place. ”

“Without a doubt the best thing I have done for myself in years. I knew for a long time that I had a certain degree of hearing loss. After a friend told me about his experience with The Hearing and Brain center in Worcester, Ma I decided to stop putting it off any longer. Absolutely amazing experience and results. The only way I could be happier is if I went sooner. So happy in fact that I made an appointment for my Dad at the same facility. He is praising his experience and results to every one he talks with as well.
Thank you!”

“After suffering with tinnitus for several years, I attended a seminar with Dr Darrow. Now I know there is no cure for tinnitus, but after listening to Dr. Darrow, I knew he could help. When I went to the Hearing and Brain Center in Worcester, everybody was professional and courteous. After my hearing test with Tracy Forrester, I had my consultation with Jordan Green to discuss my options. I've had my hearing aids for several months now and there has been a reduction in the volume level of the ringing sound. Hopefully it will lessen more over time and I am hopeful.”

“I finally came to terms with my hearing loss after visiting a number of hearing centers. I was very impressed with the service I received at the the Hearing & Balance Center compared to other offices that I visited. My initial visit went very well, they completed a comprehensive hearing test and then let me try on some of the hearing aids. As soon as I put them on, I started to cry as I realized how much I WAS NOT HEARING.... I would highly recommend this office for all of your hearing needs - Great Staff and Excellent service.”

“A number of years ago I had been diagnosed with some slight hearing loss, at that time not bad enough to use hearing aids. A few years after I began to notice I was having difficulty hearing my co-workers across a conference table. Unsure of how to proceed I was lucky enough to hear Dr. Darrow on the Jim Polito show on WTAG. It gave me the courage to call and set up an appointment. I was very nervous about the appointment & what the results may be. You see, my avocation is singing and I was concerned that continuing hearing loss may make that difficult if not impossible. Well I shouldn't have worried, the staff and doctor were wonderful, kind and understanding. I left that day with my new hearing aids feeling I had made the best decision in my life to make that first phone call.
Over the years I have moved up to the newer technologies and my life has remained full and social, and I am still singing! I thank the Hearing and Brain Center for enriching my life.”

“Very happy with my new treatment plan and all the work that went into it. The first month has been very positive and I look forward better hearing and health. Jordan and Tracy couldn’t be any more helpful and professional. ”

“Very informative. Anyone out there experiencing hearing loss needs to go listen to his symposium. It proves a definite link between untreated hearing loss and early dementia. The longer it goes untreated the more you increase your chances of early dementia.”

“It’s been a month since I first got my hearing aids. I am amazed at what a difference it has made in my life!! I don’t have to be embarrassed about talking to friends and family and misunderstanding a lot of their conversation. The staff is very professional and I never feel rushed at my appointments. They really care about giving you the time to ask any questions and have provided me with excellent hearing results. Dr. Darrow is so knowledgeable and I would recommend this treatment center to anyone. Attend one of his lectures if you’re on the fence and you’ll be happy with the results!”

“My visit with Tracy was very successful. On Sunday the day before the appointment, the dome on my hearing aid detached and was embeded in my right ear. At home several attempts to dislodge it only made the problem worse. Tracy accomplished the removal with patience, gentleness and determination. Gratefully, Patricia”

“Tracy was very thorough in her examination and testing. She answered my questions and was it was very easy to talk with her. Dr. Darrow followed up the appointment with a discussion of my results and he addressed my concerns and explained everything in a way that I was able to understand without talking down to me as some doctors are prone to do.”

“I took my Mom to the New England Hearing and Balance Center because she was having trouble engaging in our conversations and also hearing sounds around her. Although she already had a hearing aid, it was clear that it wasn't working optimally. The New England Hearing and Balance Center gave her a thorough battery of tests, which helped determine exactly wasn't working. They then fitted her with a different type of device, which vastly improved her outcomes. The staff, including Dr. Darrows, was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. We are so relieved that she is hearing much better now, as it has already noticeably improved the quality of her life. Thank you, thank you...! ”

“After spending months researching hearing aids, I finally made an appointment at Hearing and Balance Centers of New England. What a wonderful experience! I could not believe that I walked out of the office hearing all the things I had been missing. Everyone who works at the Center is focused on helping you have a satisfying experience while obtaining improved hearing. Buying your hearing aids is just the beginning of an ongoing relationship with the Center as they continue to ensure that you have the best hearing available. I highly recommend Dr. Darrow and his staff.”

“I came here because of Tracy. I have been wearing hearing aids since I was 5 years old and Tracy is by far the best Audiologist I have seen in my life. I've been with her for quite a while and her expertise in fitting and programming my hearings aids has resulted in a huge boost in my ability to hear and understand speech around me. This has really helped the quality of my life. Thank you Tracy!”

“My former audiologist sold her business to Hearing Balance Center in Worcester. The new office on Shore Drive is great and the Staff is excellent. I have made 2 visits concerning problems with my hearing aids purchased 16 months ago from my previous audiologist. Dr. Darrow diagnosed the problems, returned them to the manufacturer and I had them back in 7 working days adjusted to the original settings and working perfect. I was very pleased with this service, promptness and professionalism.”

“I have been hearing impaired for 32 years and was initially told that hearing aids wouldn't help me because of my tinnitis. Several years ago I decided to see if technology had changed enough to work for me. I got my first set of hearing aids and it has been life changing. I hear things that I'd forgotten about such as birds, my car directional and the letter "s", just to name a few. My family and friends are so glad that I can hear them the first time they say something to me. My youngest son was so excited for that he actually took a picture of me wearing my hearing aids and texted it to everyone he knew! Everyone at the Hearing and Balance Centers of New England have been wonderful and helpful. They are so professional and caring. I recommend them to everyone who asks about my hearing aids. ”

“I knew I needed to have a baseline done on my hearing since I was well over 50 years old. I had noticed a hearing decline in social and work situations, and needed to use closed-captioning to follow a television program because I couldn't always see the actors' lips. I thought I had clogged ear canals due to sinus congestion. Wrong! The same day that I met with Dr. Corley, I began a trial with my Oticon hearing aides. I purchased them and had them fine tuned according to my needs over the next month. I am so glad not to be missing out on my students' voices, restaurant conversations, and dialogues with my husband. (HE knows right away when I don't have "my ears in" since I'm misinterpreting him or asking him to repeat.) All staff at this facility bend over backwards to insure your comfort.”

“I have had good experiences every time I go to the office, i do not feel rushed when I have questions or adjustments needed, when I have an appointment I usually get there early and if there is no one ahead of me I am seen right away. I have told people about Hearing Balance Centers of New England. I am really happy to be one of their customers, and hope to be for a long time.”

“A LIFE CHANGING EVENT!
I have been wearing hearing aids for over 15 years. After 3 tours of duty in Vietnam and 32 years as a police officer (siren mounted on the roof in those days} my hearing was bad. I had been going to a well known audiologist in Worcester for many years and was getting no ware fast. My hearing was getting worse as time went on and i had been fitted with two different instruments. Had them turned up, to loud, turn them down to soft. After 14 years I said enough in enough and made and appointment at the Mass. Eye & Ear in Boston. They gave me a hearing test that lasted almost two hours, results, sever, almost profound hearing loss. I was told that there was new technology out there that "might" help. I brought the test results to my audiologist and she said, your hearing in not that bad. I said these people are the best in the world, picked up my test results and walk out, never to return.
A friend told me about Hearing Balance Center of New England, made and appointment and went. I met Dr. Corley, showed her my test results from Ma. Eye & Ear and all she said was WOW, let me give you a hearing test. After her hearing test she said they were right on the money, but I think I can help you. She got a pair of Oticon Altra2ProTi made some basic settings, no special ear molds and put them in and turned them on. I was SHOCKED I could hear almost normally, after fine tuning them the hearing got only better.
This was the first time in years I have been able to drive my car and listen to the radio with out back round noise, drive my car with the window open and still listed to the radio, turned off the CC on my TV. Have a normal conversation with my wife without screaming at each other. Recently went to a wedding with 250 other people and was able to talk with friends. I have gone back to teaching because I can now hear my students. Hearing Balance Center of New England truly changed my life. Dr. Corley was great the other staff were great too. There is no other way I can say thank to the staff and Dr. Corley except write and honest review. If you have a hearing issue Dr. Corley and the staff can help, again they changed my life.”

“My father has had issues with his hearing for years, and after years of his family asking him to get his hearing checked he finally did. He had an appointment with the courteous and professional staff at the Hearing and Balance Centers of New England and has been wearing hearing aids, that he swore he did not need, for about 2 months now and wow what a difference! He is now able to participate in conversations in loud environments like crowded restaurants and no longer feels isolated in such situations, which he now admits to being the biggest benefit of wearing the hearing aids. While shopping with my father, my sister and I made some sarcastic remarks to one another in a volume he normally would not hear about his choices, which he jokingly responded " Hey, I have my hearing aids in today, I can hear you. How long has this been going on?" Nothing gets by him now. I would like to thank the Hearing and Balance Centers of New England for helping my father and to highly recommend them to those who feel they have a hearing issue and even to those who don't believe that they do (like my Dad)!!”

“Dr. Corley is amazing! She is the first doctor to sit down with me and take time to listen about my sons hearing issues. Our experience has been life changing. After endless trips to Boston and not having any success; my son finally has hearing aids and can hear the way he should. She's always prompt getting back to me with any questions or concerns. Thank you Dr. Corley!”

“I have been going to the Hearing & Balance in Holden for almost ten years and have been very satisfied. Recently I was upgraded to a new set of Oticon hearing aids. I can't believe how Oticon's technology has improved over my old one. For me the words " huh & what" are in the past !! Thanks to Oticon, and the doctors who have given me the gift of hearing.”
