“We were impressed with the doctor when we first heard him at a presentation he hosted, explaining hearing loss and the different types of hearing aids available. We have had hearing aids for 2 years now, and continue to be impressed with each visit. This doctor is always patient and professional. We highly recommend him to anyone with hearing problems.”

“My husband and I have been seeing Dr Pemba since he started at The Villages Health. I was so pleased with him that it convinced my husband to try him when he'd sworn never to get hearing aids. Now we would both be lost without them! We like Dr Pemba so much that once he moved to Pinellas we continue to see him even though it's a long drive for us. “I am a new hearing aid wearer and was somewhat reluctant to begin, but Dr. Pemba made the experience painless. His advice helped me select the best instruments for my hearing loss and lifestyle. “I have been seeing Dr. Pemba for several years. He is always thorough in the exams and the explanations. My first set of hearing aids started losing battery life after only a few hours of wear. After several attempts to correct the problem, Dr. Pemba told the company I should receive a new pair which they sent. Now I am having no problems at all. I appreciate that he addressed the problem quickly. I feel confident in his care. ”

“I had been using hearing aids for about 2 or 3 years. I was not happy with them. I found that replacing the batteries was difficult with my arthritis in both hands. Dr. Pemba gave me a complete hearing test. He recommended Phonak devices and explained their use. I also had a trial period to make up my mind if I wanted to keep them. I am very happy with my new hearing aids. They have so many features, many that I use and some I don't. All in all, I am very happy with my "new" hearing aids. Dr. Pemba has been more than happy to help me on those times when I have had questions about my Phonaks. ”

“I am 100% satisfied with my hearing aids and ongoing care at The Villages Health Audiology in Pinellas. The staff are very helpful. Dr. Pemba has done an outstanding job of assessing my unique hearing problems and providing me with hearing aids that pefectly suit and overcome my hearing deficiencies (single sided deafness). He takes the time to listen to your concerns, makes sure you understand how to use your equipment and ensures you are getting the most benefit from your devices. He is never in a rush and takes whatever time is necessary to resolve your issues. Hearing aids are expensive, but you get what you pay for. Having access to the free tri-annual followups, programming changes when needed and ongoing support whenever required more than makes up for the savings from the do-it-yourself outfits that sell hearing aids online. Having a live person available to do maintneance, reprogramming and help you is worth its weight in gold! I have total confidence in Dr. Pemba, and I am very pleased.”

“I have been an audiology patient and customer at The Villages Health Audiology Department for more than 3 years. Dr. Evans Pemba is my audiologist. I could not ask or expect a more professional, knowledgeable or kind person to care for my hearing issues and needs. Dr. Pemba took care of me and the hearing aids I first came with and when I was ready for new hearing aids he was there. I purchased a pair of Oticon Opn 3. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the HA’s or the or the service I receive from both The Villages and the hearing aid manufacturer , (Oticon). I’m sure they offer other brands of devices however suit both my hearing loss and tinnitus issues. From my experience I highly recommend The Villages Audiology Department, and the entire staff. ”

“It's always a pleasure coming in to meet with Dr. Evan Pemba. The staff is always efficient and courteous and we enjoy our conversations with Dr. Pemba. Dr. Pemba is both informative and listened to our concerns. My mom is 93 years young and was in need of hearing aids. He put her at ease and is always so gentle with her. She loves him. Our experience with Dr. Pemba and staff was excellent every step of the way. Great care, pleasant office, friendly and helpful staff and a Doctor who takes time to talk to you in easy to understand terms. I wouldn't take my mom anywhere else. Dr. Pemba listened attentively to the issues my mom was having and worked with her diligently till she was totally satisfied and happy. Mom absolutely loves the hearing aids that he recommended for her.
