Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA,
is the founder of Citrus Hearing Clinic in Clermont, Florida. She is a licensed audiologist who earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and a Doctorate in Audiology from Auburn University. Dr. Laura was born with a progressive hearing loss and is currently a bilateral hearing aid user. She is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). Dr. Teresa J. Parsons graduated from the University of South Florida receiving both her Doctorate of Clinical Audiology (Au.D.) in 2020 and Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders in 2016.
Dr. Teresa always knew she wanted to be in a healthcare field. She did not realize until starting classes in graduate school that it is abnormal to hear ringing in her ears! Dr. Teresa has been diagnosed with constant bilateral tinnitus and has tried many different devices for on-ear sound therapy. Ask Dr. Teresa about her favorite tinnitus management strategies.
