Christy Hopson,

Audiologist

Christy received her B.S. in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from State University of New York College and her M.S. in Business Administration from the University of Rochester. She then returned to the State University of New York where she earned her Doctorate of Audiology. Christy joined URMC in 2004, and now serves as Director of Clinical Services leading our team of highly qualified audiologists dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

Hearing care services

The Department of Audiology provides a full range of diagnostic and treatment services for patients, from birth through adulthood, who suffer from hearing and balance problems. Audiology is a part of the University Otolaryngology Associates (ENT) practice. Some of the most common services that our audiologists offer include:

  • Hearing aid evaluations and fittings
  • Balance disorders
  • Hearing loss prevention programs and consultation
  • Newborn hearing testing
  • Tinnitus evaluations
