Dr. McLendon has over 30 years of experience. She earned her graduate degree in Audiology at George Washington University in 1991. She completed her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University in 2007. She worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in the Audiology Center, prior to opening The Hearing Center of Chestertown. She is a member of the Kent Count Chamber of Commerce.

“I just moved to Chestertown from Pa and HCC was recommended to my by my neighbor. Boy, was he right . Jennifer greeted me and was fantastic! She was friendly, professional and helpful. Then I saw Dr. McLendon, who was also friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. She ran tests and explained them as she performed them (which I appreciated), showed me (and explained to me) the chart/graph generated by the tests, and explained my options for the timing and type
of hearing aids I need. HCC is outstanding in every way, and certainly the place to go
for hearing needs.”

“The entire staff is excellent!!! They are so friendly and helpful.
I had very dry wax in my ear. Dr. McLendon recommended drops to soften the wax.
Then i went back 4 days later and she very gently was able to dig it out. They work you in for emergencies. I love my hearing aids. I am back involved in the real world again.”

“Very bad service. They kept me waiting for 45 minutes. I did not get a chance to be examined. The doctor was talking a lot with the other patient and completely ignored the schedule. I imagine that if you are in Chestertown you only have this option, but luckily I can go elsewhere. It was truly disappointing. What a lack of respect for patients.”
