“I have been using hearing aids since 1997, and have been seeing Joyce Sexton from before that time as I noticed my hearing slowly decreasing. I am a busy professional who depends on excellent hearing to be able to do my job, Over the years I have become so hard of hearing that I have often had to consider retiring early. Over the past 17 years she has fitted me with the newest technology hearing aids as were necessary for me to keep working and to be able to maintain my relationships with my friends and family, in spite of my discouragement at times. She has met with me innumerable times with each new set of hearing aids, doing the periodic adjustments and "tweaks" necessary for getting the maximum benefit out of the newest appliance - all without additional charge. I owe my ability to keep working and to maintain enjoyable social and family relationships to Joyce Sexton's commitment to my hearing! I can't recommend her highly enough!”

“I had a very bad experience. My toddler had an appointment with Sue. The front desk clerk was very friendly. But once Sue came out every thing went down hill. She opened the door and gave us a blank look. She Did not even say hI. I had to introduce myself to find out she was ready to see us. She seemed really rattled by my toddler almost as if he was the first two year old she had tested for hearing loss. Like most toddlers he cried when she attempted to inspect his ear. She immediately got frustrated and said she doesn't know if we can do this. She only looked in one ear and seemed upset. I asked if she had seen any fluids and she said "i don't know". I had researched what to expect at a hearing evaluation and sadly did not get a fair appointment. I truely felt like a number and like just another client paying their bills. For a few minutes of Sue's time I had to pay $170. She ended the appointment by basically saying she thinks he may or may not have hearing loss and she would like me to make another appointment. I left feeling like I had been sold fools gold. I truely got nothing in return, but worst of all my toddler is back at square one. We still don't have the answer we came to this office for. ”

“They are the best I have ever been to. Have had aids since 1996, but these guys are the best and did more than anyone else ever has. I live in Kenai, AK and my doctor here wouldn't help me because I didn't buy aids or other tools from her. Refused. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I couldn't afford a new set and the folks at Northern Hearing Services didn't even hesitate to help me. Wow, what a difference. I will be loyal to you guys forever now. I can't say thank you enough!”
