“I have not seen Terrence in a couple of years but finding his card, prompted me to write a FANTASTIC review about an amazingly kind and compassionate individual that has left a positive and last impression on me. If you go anywhere for hearing aid needs, GO HERE. The entire staff is professional, and organized, and I only had great experiences each time I came. I got a hearing aid through this office and bc I ended up having an ear operation and restoring some lost hearing, I no longer go here. Terence was always friendly, and had a love for the outdoors. I remember once he saved me a doctor's visit by carefully removing some wax from my teen daughter's ear. I was so appreciative. He and his office exceeded expectations. If I could give him move stars I would.”

“They had a new technician who worked on my ears and she didn't have any idea what she was doing. It should have taken her a minute to clean the one side, and it took her over an hour, and that wasn't even the side that was plugged up. She got the doctor for the second ear, and I don't think he finished his job either.”

“Their attempt to get me to purchase the most expensive hearing aids when I don't have that much hearing loss was a total turn off. ”

Official Response from Santa Cruz Ear Nose and Throat Hearing Aid Center:
“We apologize for the misunderstanding Sharon experienced. While we cannot make specific responses about any individual patient I can explain the process. Our goal is to have the highest level of satisfaction in hearing quality. We are all familiar with people who have purchased hearing aids that they don't like and refuse to use. This is often because the wrong hearing aid was prescribed. Our audiologists and dispensers go over a variety hearing rehabilitation options. Many patients find it hard to understand the difference between the quality of different hearing aid products. Because of the higher cost of the upper end hearing aids we offer free demo trials of a week with these. That gives patients an opportunity to "test drive" a high end product. When they return to discuss the experience we discuss with them whether this is the direction they wish to pursue or would they prefer a mid or lower level unit. If they opt for the latter they still have a trial period but if they find the lower cost hearing aid doesn't meet their expectations they are able to reconsider the higher end aid. We have had literally decades of experience dispensing hearing aids and we receive consistently positive feedback that this leads to the best results in our patients. We survey every patient who purchases hearing aids in our practice and over the past 10 years we have a 97.5% rating of excellent care by our patients. While we regret any negative experience of any customer we strive for excellence with every person we care for.”

“This office is staffed so amazingly.....they are highly personable and sweet, patient, and kind. More than once Terence Russel has squeezed me in and been so accommodating. He is an amazing person with a great heart. He is super nice to the kids when I bring them in....even cleaned out one of my kids ears and saved me a doctor's apt. I highly recommend this office with all of my heart. Been in there many times and am impressed each time. ”
