Dedicated to helping our patients understand and communicate more effectively throughout the course of their lives, in as many different acoustic environments as possible. Through education and information, we can help the patients stabilize their comprehension with prescription amplification and proper usage of their hearing instrumentation.
Jill Cardinal,

Audiologist
Her master’s degree is from the University of South Florida and her doctorate degree is from University of Florida. She has worked in ENT clinics, private schools, public schools, hospitals, privately owned clinics and corporate owned clinics. She worked for 26 years in Sarasota and has also lived and worked in Tampa, Bradenton, Orlando, Atlanta and Dallas.
Jill lives in Venice and works in the Sarasota and Venice locations of Professional Hearing Group. She lives about 6 minutes from the beach and is a frequent sunset admirer and beach walker. She likes to take her dog, Rico, to the dog park. She is an active member of her church, as well as the Lions Club where she is the director of the hearing assistance program.
I love my career, and I strive to not only help each patient I work with to hear better or gain information about their ears, but I also long to see them smile and get to know them. It is truly an honor to work with each patient.

We work with over 2000 different hearing devices from over 20 different manufacturers so we can offer a variety of styles including digital and programmable. Whether it is for you, or a person you care about, let our team at Sarasota Hearing Center give you, a friend or loved one, a free consultation! It can’t hurt – and it doesn’t.
For all patients your free consultation, will include:
- Hearing test
- A Video Otoscopic inspection of your ears for wax, (you can see what we do!)
- Wax removal from your ears by an Audiologist with over 35 years of experience
- A complete hearing consultation
- A demonstration of the latest technology if applicable
- A complete report of your hearing results sent to your primary physician
- Information on FREE assistive listening devices available to Florida residents.
Additional Services:
- Hearing aid sales, maintenance, repair, cleaning, parts and accessories
- Computerized hearing aid fittings to ensure proper amplification
- Hearing aid programming and adjustments
- Video otoscopic inspection of your ears for wax
- Hearing aid accessories including batteries
When selecting a style of hearing aids the following is considered:
- The degree of the hearing loss (power requirements)

For Your Current Hearing Aids (If applicable):
- Inspection and cleaning of earmolds
- A thorough drying of perspiration and humidity in our Vacuum Chamber
- Polishing and tightening of battery contacts
- Cleaning and lubrication of volume controls
- Lubrication of any switches/memory buttons
- Cleaning of switches and/or memory buttons
- Cleaning of microphone and receiver openings
- Check of aid for feedback (squeal)
- Electroacoustic performance test
