Dr. Ram Nileshwar earned his Doctor of Audiology degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences of A.T. Still University, and has been a practicing audiologist in Lake Charles for over 30 years. He has been with The Hearing Center since its inception in 1987. Ram holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Ram specializes in hearing rehabilitation, including the fitting of both conventional and advanced digital hearing instruments. He has expertise in diagnostic audiology, including the evaluation and management of disorders of hearing and balance. Ram is the first audiologist in Louisiana to be certified by the renowned American Institute of Balance. Ram is also the first audiologist in Louisiana and among very first few audiologists in the United States to be Audigy Certified. He works closely with family practitioners, internists, ENT physicians and physical therapists, among many other specialties, as well as various other health care professionals across southwest Louisiana. Over the years Ram has helped literally thousands of individuals improve their quality of life through better hearing.

Jordan Strong completed her Doctor of Audiology from Louisiana Tech University in 2020. As her graduate research project, she examined the accuracy of app based hearing testing compared to traditional audiometric testing, an aspect of audiology she is very passionate about. Dr. Strong is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and a member of the Louisiana Academy of Audiology.

Elizabeth McCutchen received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Arkansas and later, completed her Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Southern Mississippi, graduating in May of 2021. During her graduate school career, Dr. McCutchen developed a passion for patient rehabilitation and counseling. She completed her externship at the Center for Hearing in Fort Smith, Arkansas where she enjoyed working with patients of all ages. She is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
