Barbara is the Program Director of Audiology for the LSU School of Allied Health Professions. She earned her Ph.D. in Audiology from the Childhood Hearing Impairment Program, University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT and her M.Ed., Audiology, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA. She specializes in pediatric audiology, newborn hearing screening, otoacoustic emissions and cochlear implants.
She leads a team of highly qualified clinical professionals that provide excellent patient care.

LSUHSC Audiology department provides full service hearing care services to patients of all ages including newborns to the elderly. Our highly qualified Audiologists will diagnose and treat all types of hearing loss and help you make the best decision for all of your hearing needs.
The Audiology department also offers cochlear implant services in pre and postoperative assessment, programming and troubleshooting and rehabilitation and counseling for all cochlear implant brands.
