Director of Audiology
Licensed clinical audiologist John Ioannou earned his Master’s Degree in Audiology from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and is Board Certified in Audiology. He also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. He oversees a team of highly-skilled audiologists.

The Lexington Hearing and Speech Center is proud to be an affiliate of the Lexington School for the Deaf / Center for the Deaf. We provide comprehensive audiological (hearing care) services, speech-language pathology and medical rehabilitation services to patients of all ages.
The Lexington Hearing and Speech Center is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Council. Our highly qualified clinical professionals can help you make the best choices with all of your hearing needs and hopefully achieve a better quality of life through better hearing.
Hearing care services
The Lexington Center for Hearing and Speech offers complete audiology services including:
- Hearing tests for people of all ages
- Hearing aids for all ages
- Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs)
- Hearing aid checks, cleaning, service and repairs
- Hearing aid accessories
- Non-invasive newborn hearing screenings
We serve members of senior centers through our Mobile Hearing Screening Unit, which provides diagnostic and rehabilitation services to senior centers and residences throughout Queens and Brooklyn.
