“Two years ago I was tested and given a pair of hearing aids. They never fit properly and I gave up wearing them. As my hearing declined I went to another audiology practice. It turned out that I'd been fitted with the wrong equipment. STAY AWAY.”
Received 05/15/2024Official Response from Carolina Ear & Hearing Clinic:“Miss Helene, I am so sorry that you have been made to feel that you were fit incorrectly. Based on the initial visit, you were adamant about having a device that sat in your ear and not behind your ear. There are many pros and cons to those types of devices and typically the decision to move forward with any style is based on an in depth conversation between patient and provider. I wish you the best of luck in the future and just know we are always here to help as our primary goal is to improve quality of life through better hearing. ”
“I was delighted by the thoroughness of the staff and dr macleevan. I saw multiple people, each with their own area of expertise( hearing test, vertigo check). And I saw dr macleevan twice during my visit. He was informative, clearly presented me with my problem and gave me a few options. The desk staff were also helpful and kind, not hurried. Five stars .”
“Very nice people that work there”
“This morning was one of the best experience & customer service I have received in a long time. Although I am a nurse I have no background in disorders of the ear so this was a great learning experience today when I took my mom for audiology testing. My mother who has a language barrier was very comfortable as I interpreted the education I received from Dr. Richards & Becky, NP. They were just awesome including from the first phone call I made & the front desk experience. This is a gem of a practice!”
“Nurse practictioner recognized my ear canal quickly, communicated clearly with me, and prescribed something that helped within the first day. Audiology extern was articulate, friendly, answered my many questions, and got me excited about using my hearing aids again. In the past, Dr. McElveen did surgery on my eardrum. I would absolutely go to him for any ear surgeries.”
