“Most people have normal ear canals. My left ear is somewhat disfigured, because it was burnt when I was a teenager, causing an erratic ear canal and several features of the ear. The forgoing caused the left ear to reject the acceptance firmly the "standard hearing aid". It would not stay in place, it came out when I chewed food and talked . . . I lost one. Corey had Starkey make an "Ear Lock"; simply stated it stays firmly in place! The custom made system requires a mold of the ear canal and the outer ear. Corey, Anna and Julie's patience with my particular problem was outstanding as I have been in the Audiology Associates offfice in the past year at least five (5) times. I am glad Dr. Michael Martin at Whetstone Clinic suggested I see Corey Wilcox.
Life is better with both ears working without problems!
