The team of professionals at the Yale Hearing and Balance Center is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for adults and children with hearing and vestibular challenges and balance disorders. Whether treating you or your child, we provide personalized care and individual attention during every visit.
As faculty of the Yale School of Medicine Department of Surgery, our surgeons and multidisciplinary specialists offer unparalleled experience, innovative services, and the latest treatment and management technologies. Our team members are dedicated to advancing the science of hearing and balance through leading-edge research that will help improve the lives of patients with congenital and acquired hearing difficulties.
Our specialists see adult and pediatric patients at the Yale Physicians Building at 800 Howard Avenue (Fourth Floor) in New Haven, Connecticut. Pediatric patients are also seen at Yale-New Haven Hospital’s Pediatric Specialty Clinic located on the second floor of Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital.
Hearing care services
The Yale Hearing and Balance Center offers world class, comprehensive hearing and balance services for adults and children. Our caring team of multidisciplinary specialists offers innovative solutions to diagnostic, treatment, and management techniques for a range of congenital and acquired disorders, including hearing impairments, tinnitus, aural atresia, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), cholesteatoma, and hearing loss.
All our audiologists are certified, Connecticut State licensed, and highly experienced at performing a variety of leading-edge diagnostic tests.

- Otoacoustic emission testing
- Tinnitus (ringing in the ear)
