Audiologist Ellen Verlo is a lifelong resident of Iowa, born in Cedar Falls. She earned her B.A. in Speech and Hearing from the University of Iowa and her M.A. in Audiology from Northern Illinois University. She holds a certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association and was an audiologist in the Iowa City area for 27 years before joining Audiology Consultants. She is licensed in the states of Iowa and Illinois and belongs to the American Academy of Audiology, the American Speech Language Hearing Association and the Iowa Speech Language Hearing Association.

In addition to treating hearing loss, our talented staff can also help you protect your hearing. This includes education about causes of hearing loss as well as how to use and care for protection devices.

Hearing conservation services for industry: Our professional staff can assist you in developing or improving your hearing conservation program. We have a mobile test unit for on site OSHA compliant hearing tests.
