Audiologist
Theresa (Teri) Gauthier is a licensed Audiologist with years of experience helping people hear their best in the family business. But she didn't start off there; she previously worked at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis for several years, then decided to go back to school to study audiology. She graduated at the top of her class from Wayne State University in Michigan. Her experience helping people hear their best includes positions at several of the most highly renowned audiology clinics in the country including the Henry Ford Clinic in Michigan, Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, and the Alfred I. DuPont Hospital in Delaware. In 1998 Teri joined Audio’D’ (Finetone) as the Director of Audiology. She works hard to use her considerable skills to improve the quality of life for her patients through better hearing.
Outside of the office, Teri enjoys acting in local stage theaters and has portrayed a number of characters at the Lyric Music Theatre and Portland Players in Portland and The Community Little Theatre in Lewiston.
Ed Gauthier,
Hearing aid engineer
After he had served our country in the US Air Force, Ed Gauthier went to work worked for MIT. In 1968, he left MIT to heed the call to join the hearing aid industry as an engineer. Since then, he had enjoyed the challenge of evolving and developing technologies. Ed Gauthier holds several patents and in 1989, he became one of the first engineers to incorporate digital technology for graphic equalization into hearing aids.
When he isn't working, Ed enjoys spending time with his family, working on his house, fishing and sailing.

“Very poor service on in the ear hearing aid. One of my hearing aids failed after 8 months of use. Dropped off at Farmington store (only open 3 days a week) and sent out for repair. Over two weeks later, the hearing aid is returned to Windham (why?), and will be sent to Farmington and must be "adjusted", which means an appointment in Farmington (remember 3 days a week?). I only gathered this information after calling them. There was no communication whatsoever from them. Poor service, poor communication, questionable product quality. ”

Our hearing aid factory is in Windham, Maine. We produce hearing aids for Audiologists and Hearing clinics all across the USA in addition to our own retail stores. We have been manufacturing hearing aids for over three decades and was founded by a family with a combined experience of over 100 years in the Hearing Aid and micro acoustic device industry.
We service all hearing aid brands, most of which can be repaired in-house and Usually can repair aids that other companies cannot, even for hearing aids that are 5+ years old. In addition we offer the best service plans and warranties in the state of Maine.
Our Farmington location is in the strip mall across the street from Portland Glass. We are sandwiched between Taco Bell/KFC restaurant combo and Verizon with plenty of parking.
