“I bought my first set of Oticon hearing aids from Bob Costa neariy 7 years ago and they are still working flawlessly, but as we all Know technology moves at a lightning pace these days. So when Bob offered a test program for the latest and greatest , Oticon intent units, I decided to participate. Bob fitted me up and sent me off for a few days to form my opinions, and they are as follows. First impression was that the Clarity and sound quality is amazing, so much so that it actually startled me a bit until I became acclimated to it Sounds seem so much more natural than with my old units, I have not encountered anyone that I could not understand, and that was fairiy common with my old units, my wife and I can listen to the TV show, at the same volume, and that has not happened for a long time. Also, I seem to have a much better sense of the direction of sounds than with my old units. The three available program settings are very useful, especially the one for background noise reduction, which is far superior to the old program. I can actually carry on a conversation in a noisy restaurant without difficulty. The blue tooth capabilities of are also vastly superior to the old units, for instance I seldom used bluetooth on my old units for phone calls because I just could not hear people well, with these it is as if they are standing next to me, speaking directly into my ear. The Companion app that Oticon has developed for these units, is very straight forward, easy to use and much improved over Oticon one. In a word these units terrific, and I would recommend them to anyone. It probably goes without saying. that I am now the proud owner of my test units, and very pleased. Also let me say that Bob Costa is terrific, he makes you feel comfortable the minute you enter his office, and takes all the time necessary, to make absolutely certain that all of your questions answerered, and your needs fulfilled .”
