Stephen wears hearing aids daily and has since 2005. He has walked the path he asks his patients to walk and knows what they go through every day with their hearing loss.
Stephen is a Florida-licensed Hearing Aid Specialist and has been coaching hearing loss sufferers since 2004. He is also Board-Certified so this places him in the top tier of licensure nationally. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Florida Society of Hearing Healthcare Professionals (FSHHP) which is known as the Florida Hearing Society. He is very involved with the International Hearing Society, sitting on their Licensing Committee and assisting with writing the International Licensing Exam taken by candidates in the U.S. and Canada wanting to obtain their dispensing licenses.

Better Testing - Comprehensive hearing testing/evaluations. These are the minimum recommended tests by our industry:
- AC - Air Conduction
- WRS - Speech Discrimination
- MCL - Most Comfortable Volume Level
- BC - Bone Conduction
- SRT - Speech Reception Threshold
- UCL or LDL - Uncomfortable Volume Level
- Speech-in-Noise testing is also highly-recommended, but few offices perform it.
