Lindsey Kummerer, Au.D., CCC-A, is a board-certified audiologist who is dedicated to improving communication for patients of all ages with hearing loss. Dr. Kummerer believes in treating more than just the hearing loss with amplification by providing continued counseling and support for patients and their loved ones during their hearing healthcare journey.
Dr. Kummerer graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2015. After working a few years at a fertility clinic, Dr. Kummerer decided to go back to school to pursue her dream of working in audiology. Dr. Kummerer graduated with her doctorate of audiology from the University of South Florida (USF) in 2023 after completing her clinical residency at Island Audiology in Honolulu and Vitale Ear, Nose & Throat in Wesley Chapel. Dr. Kummerer is currently continuing her education and interests in research by pursuing a Ph.D. at USF in communication sciences and disorders. Her research focuses include individual differences in cocktail party listening, speech-in-noise difficulties and perception, as well as subclinical hearing loss.
Dr. Kummerer looks forward to welcoming both adults and children at Johnson’s Hearing Centers to help improve their quality of life by providing valuable hearing healthcare.

Holly Johnson, President of Johnson’s Hearing Centers and Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, has made a difference in the hearing-impaired community for over 25 years. Holly is state licensed in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, and over the years has witnessed the advancements in technology.
She is a native of Ohio where she owned and operated several successful hearing aid centers. She moved to Florida to pursue her dreams of assisting people with hearing loss while avoiding harsh winters and spending time with her mom in the sun.

At Johnson’s Hearing Centers situated in Inverness FL our mission is to enhance the hearing experience for individuals of all ages. Founded and led by hearing instrument specialist Holly Johnson our, center is privately owned and committed to delivering a comprehensive range of hearing services. Prior to establishing Johnson’s Hearing Centers, Holly achieved success as the owner operator of multiple thriving centers in Ohio. While her passion for improving people's hearing remained unwavering she sought a change from Ohio winters and decided to relocate to Florida. Today she's dedicated to bringing superior hearing assistance to the residents of Inverness and the neighborhood communities all while enjoying the sunshine state's delightful atmosphere.

Our Iverness office is located on Tompkins St, just shy of Citrus Ave where Home Stuff is situated and we are the little yellow building next to it. We are directly behind Wendy’s.

Johnson’s Hearing Centers provides comprehensive hearing services for adults of all ages.
Hearing Tests - The hearing test does not take long and our hearing providers will walk you through the entire process. A series of tests will be performed, including:
- Pure-tone audiometry
- Tympanometry
- Speech recognition testing
Hearing Aid Evaluations - To find the right device that will help you. Johnson’s Hearing Centers is a privately owned hearing aid center offering the latest technology from top manufacturers. Our wide range of hearing devices include rechargeable options with Bluetooth connectivity all custom program programmable to match your unique hearing needs.

We carry all styles of hearing aids for sale, including custom made hearing aids and earmolds if needed.
Hearing Aid Fitting and Programming - Using the results of your hearing test (audiogram), we'll skilfully program and fit your hearing aids to your unique needs.
Hearing Aid Repairs - Whether your aids sound distorted, you require a wax guard replaced or your devices need a through cleaning, we can help you.
Cerumen (earwax) Removal - Contact us to schedule an ear cleaning appointment.
Tinnitus Management - Also known as “ringing in the ears. Currently there is no tinnitus treatment that will cure ringing in the ears, but there are management options that can help. Hearing aids with a masking feature can help those who experience tinnitus. While hearing aids won’t stop ringing in the ears completely, they can provide relief.
Custom Earplugs - Helping you protect your ears. We can create custom fit earmolds for hearing aids, earplugs for hearing protection, and in-ear monitors for musicians. We offer custom fit hearing protection, including SoundGear, so you can hear your best for years to come.
