Dr. Maria Santana brings a deep dedication to her role as a certified audiologist, with a special passion for helping older adults in their journey to better living through improved hearing.
Dr. Santana’s background includes a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from State University of New York at New Paltz and a Doctor of Audiology from the Long Island Consortium, which includes Adelphi, Hofstra, and St. John’s University. She achieved the dean’s list at both schools.
Her specialties include comprehensive audiological evaluations, newborn hearing screenings, auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing, vestibular evaluations including Videonystagmography (VNG) testing, hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and programming, patient and family education, and counseling.
