American Board of Audiology Certified, Owner

Dr. Kathryn Miles Jackson founded Upstate Hearing and Balance out of a passion for helping those with hearing loss and dizziness. Previously, she had been working in both the private practice setting in Hendersonville, NC and with a team of Ear, Nose, and Throat specialists in the upstate of SC and in Raleigh, NC performing both diagnostics and management care for patients of all ages. Dr. Jackson earned a Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Maryland in 2015. A Palmetto State native, she has lived in the Greenville area since 2017 with her husband and three sons. They stay very busy as a family and can usually be found exploring Greenville on the weekend, and are members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church.

Hearing care services

Upstate Hearing and Balance seeks to reconnect people in our community who are struggling with hearing loss and vestibular disorders. We offer a comprehensive communication assessment with speech in noise testing, and we always use Real Ear Measurement, which makes hearing aid fitting and programming more personalized and prescriptive for maximal audibility. For patients who may not currently be satisfied with their hearing aids purchased elsewhere, we offer second opinions and can provide a tune-up and assistance with their current devices as needed. We address vertigo related to benign positional vertigo, and provide tinnitus assessment and treatment. We are proud to offer expert hearing and balance care for the whole family.
