Steve Smith grew up in Livonia and now lives in White Lake, Michigan. Steve became interested in the hearing profession because of his grandfather, who suffered from noise-induced hearing loss due to working in the automotive manufacturing industry. After seeing his grandfather receive the help he needed to communicate with his family, Steve was inspired to help others with their hearing difficulties.
Steve has been a practicing Hearing Instrument Specialist since 2011. He worked in several facilities before he transitioned to HearingLife. Having spent time in various settings throughout his career, Steve's experience has provided him with extensive knowledge of the diagnostic process used to assess and treat hearing difficulties. Steve is licensed in hearing aid dispensing, and participates regularly in continuing education to keep abreast of hearing health best practices.
