And I also loved my hearing aids for for first 18 months but I found it very disappointing that rechargeable battery type was not nearly efficient after 18 months. If attending a function in the evening or watching a TV program, I had to find a time to be without my hearing aids in order for them to recharge. Then as I approached my 24th month, the left hearing aid would no longer recharge. It happened at a very inconvenient time as I was going out of town. But I will say you worked efficiently at providing a loaner set for the two weeks it will take to repair my battery charger or hearing aids. It makes me very hesitant about choosing the rechargeable next time. But one would be hard pressed to find nicer people than your staff!”

Dr. Allen is very thorough, gives detailed graphs, explanation of test, of both ears in comparison. I have recommended to a friend and went in with them for the test findings. The cause of hearing loss and ringing was thoroughly explained and test was charted with test graphs. The hearing aids were thoroughly explained, spent time showing how to insert, remove and operate. The front waiting room is comfortable and pleasantly decorated. Have been taken in every time at appointment time. When my hearing does require aids, this is where I will get them. “I am only writing this to so others can learn from my experience. At first the people were friendly and helpfull. Did my hearing test and tried some hearing aids. They had me try the top of the line first and then the low end, never offered the mid level. Was told by the audiologist that I could try the pair I selected for 14 days. I came back and tried the oticon Nera Pro which I really liked. I called after my visit to schedule the trial and was told I could not do that because it was not offered. I told them what was told to me on my initial visit and I was told the owner said no. I would have to pay a $300 non refundable deposit to try the hearing aids for 45 days if I did not like them I was out the money. REALLY everyone else I checked with in town offers a trial period without losing your money. I was also told the warranty was only 2 years, everyone else in town that sells the same aid told me 3 years. I was also told they would call me back after discussing why I was given misinformation. NEVER HAPPENED. I will go else where and get my hearing aids.”

“I was referred to Johns Creek Audiology when we moved my Dad from Florida to here to move into assisted living. My Dad's hearing aids had issues when he moved here, and we needed new moulds and adjustments. Met with Derek, who was extremely friendly, helpful and passionate about his work. Even though my Dad purchased his hearing aids in Florida and they were a brand that Johns Creek audiology doesn't dispense, Derek was extremely thorough and took the time to after get a new hearing test for my Dad, to work on reprogramming them. When there were issues trying to adjust, he got on the phone with the manufacturer to resolve. He stayed with us past closing time to determine the problem (which was a faulty hearing aid). On follow up visits, he got my Dad's hearing aids adjusted, spent lots of time explaining the details of how the ears work, how his hearing aids work, had ordered a remote and charger for his hearing aids and got them set up and showed my Dad how to use them. Lora at the front desk has been very helpful during all of our visits with appointments, assisting with the needed insurance forms and is always friendly. I highly recommend Johns Creek Audiology for the personal service, passion for their job and knowledge they have.”
