Audiologist
Experienced audiologist Catherine Worth is the founding director of Worth Hearing Centers. Catherine earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Northern Colorado and her Master of Science in Audiology degree from Colorado State. She founded Worth Hearing Center in 1999. Catherine has served as past president of the New Mexico Speech and Hearing Association, the New Mexico Academy of Dispensing Audiologists, and Albuquerque Speech and Audiology Professionals.
Catherine has extensive training on treating tinnitus and hyperacusis from the Tinnitus Practitioners Association. She is an expert at Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) and utilizing current technology used to manage tinnitus.
Catherine oversees a small team of highly-skilled expert audiologists who are dedicated to excellence in patient care and hearing improvement.

Worth Hearing Center has two locations in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. The professional team at Worth Hearing Center consists of four audiologists with a variety of specialties including pediatrics, tinnitus and dizziness. Our goal is to provide each individual with the best hearing they can achieve. Because we work with a variety of manufacturers, we spend over 50 hours each year attending training sessions so that we are able to provide the best solutions available for each individual’s needs.

Hearing care services
Worth Hearing Center offers complete hearing services, including:
- Diagnostic hearing evaluations, including pure tone testing (air and bone conduction), tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing
- Hearing aid evaluations and consultations
- Hearing aid fitting, real ear testing and follow-up care
- Hearing aid maintenance and repairs
- Balance testing
- Custom earmolds and earplugs, including swim earplugs and musician earplugs
- Tinnitus evaluations and counseling
