Dr. Averill Paes has been practicing audiology for over 20 years. She earned her Master’s of Science from the University of British Columbia in Canada and her doctoral degree from Salus University. Dr. Paes has been seeing patients at Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center for over five years and enjoys all aspects of her work including auditory processing, tinnitus management, speech reading, vestibular testing, amplification and diagnostics. She is especially committed to lifelong learning.
Dr. Paes lives in Amherst with her family and enjoys knitting, sewing, cooking and learning to play the guitar and piano.
Kristine Weinert,
AuD
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Kristine Weinert received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences at Nazareth College in Rochester. She continued her education at the University at Buffalo and received her Au.D. in 2014. Kristine completed her 4th year Externship at Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center, where she continued as a Doctor of Audiology following graduation. She enjoys all areas of Audiology, including specialized testing (ABRs, tinnitus management and Auditory Processing evaluations) as well as amplification and diagnostics for all ages.
Dr. Weinert currently resides in Corfu with her husband and two young children. She enjoys the outdoors, gardening, cooking, running, spending time with her family and rooting for the Bills and Sabres!
