At Sound Relief Hearing Center in Peoria, Arizona hearing health care isn’t just what we do; it’s who we are. Some of our audiologists have tinnitus, a few of us have hearing loss, and everyone at Sound Relief has family members with hearing loss and/or tinnitus. We share a calling to help people suffering from tinnitus, hyperacusis, hearing loss, and other hearing health issues.

The Prutsmans are the owners and founders of Sound Relief, and they believe everything about the practice reflects on them and their family legacy. Dr. Julie also serves on the board of the American Tinnitus Association. She believes her involvement will help further their mission and improve the lives of people suffering from tinnitus.

Sound Relief Tinnitus & Hearing Center offers specialized audiology services, including tinnitus treatment, extensive diagnostic hearing testing, and solutions for decreased sound tolerance.
- Hearing & speech comprehensive testing/evaluation, consists of a series of tests and inspections to assess the overall hearing health of a patient.
- Tinnitus assessment, tinnitus is common and often described as a "ringing, rushing or buzzing sound in the ears". The tinnitus assessment at Sound Relief combines tinnitus-specific tests, a comprehensive audiological evaluation, and tympanometry.
- Hyperacusis assessment, a hearing disorder for patients with a decreased tolerance for everyday noise/sounds at such high levels that it causes irritation, anxiety, or even physical pain.
- Hearing aid evaluation, based on your test results, needs, lifestyle and budget together we will determine which hearing device will best suite you.
- Hearing aid sales, rechargeable, background noise cancellation and Bluetooth streaming capability.
- Custom made and fitted hearing aids, using an earmold impression of the patient's ear.
- Programming of hearing aids with your full prescription.
- Real Ear Measurements (REM), REMs are the gold standard in audiology for verification that the hearing aids are working as they should and providing the intended benefits inside the patient’s ear canal at the eardrum.
- Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions (DPOAEs), this test measure frequencies in each ear and the audiologist interprets the results found.
- Removal and management of non-Impacted and impacted Cerumen (earwax).
