I am a Doctor of Audiology, licensed by the state of Arizona to dispense prescription hearing aids, and I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. Audiology became an interest to me while in college back in Illinois. I volunteered on interdisciplinary teams helping children with hearing loss and was introduced to audiologists through assisting with rehabilitation teams at the University Lab School.
My clinical background covers a variety of proficiencies including comprehensive diagnostics, cochlear implants, hearing aid technologies, communication strategies training, and counseling for patient-centered care. These skills were developed in a range of clinical settings including university clinics, private practices, and a neurotology clinic. I am passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life through managing their hearing health and helping people re-engage with their community. My aim is to achieve this by finding solutions that work for your hearing needs and your lifestyle. It is my honor to work with you towards your goal of healthy hearing!
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors, playing board games, and spending time with my husband and the friends we’ve made in Arizona.

“When for a visit to Doctor Anderson to have my ears cleaned. Is very professional and nice man. Took care of my problem and removed wax from my ears, enabling me to hear again. I highly recommend Priority Hearing.”
“I had problems with discomfort wearing hearing aids with glasses, feeling of water in ears and with sudden loud noises. Dr Anderson gave solutions for all issues. Explained all in an excellent way to remember and gave a printout as reference in managing hearing aids. He was kind and professional. Excellent experience. Receptionist was very nice. ”
“I was first introduced to Priority Hearing & Tinnitus at a wellness fair here in Province located in Maricopa. I set up appointment and office is conveniently located down the street. I needed to get a new pair of Hearing Aids after thorough tests in both ears. I have extreme tinnitus in both ears and hearing loss in both and needless to say I needed help with sound as hard to understand at times what people are saying in a crowded room or even on TV. I'm happy to have purchased the Oticon More 1 with the recharging convenience to help hear better. The office sends emails to let me know that it is time to come in for a check up and when I am in there the audiologist is very attentive, knowledgeable to any questions I may have and if I need help I can call in between to ask any question that might arise. I have the App and it also pairs with my iPhone or iPad so I can go in on phone and adjust the 4 programs on my App. If anyone is having a hard time hearing I would go into Priority Hearing & Tinnitus especially if you live here in Maricopa.(no lengthy drive needed) Everyone is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. You will start hearing some sounds that you had not been correctly hearing. ”
“While talking to a friend one day and later watching TV I realized I wasn't hearing every word and had to, once again, increase the volume to the TV. I found that my right hearing aid was not working and thought I was going to need new hearing aids. Dr. Wahl found the problem in minutes and repaired immediately. I happily paid for a repair instead of new hearing aids. Dr. Wahl is knowledgeable, friendly and personable. How lucky are we to have Priority Hearing in Maricopa. (no need to travel on 347)”
